Photo Gallery Martinmas Lantern Walk 2006 The Martinmas Lantern Walk comes from the life and voyages of Saint Martin. The walk celebrates the bringing of light into our hearts during the coming season of darkness. The school community assembles for a beautiful walk in the mountains.
A light snow makes the walk extra special.
The children gather to hear a story celebrating the life of Saint Martin, a humble, gentle man well known for his kindness and generosity.
The children are bundled up to keep warm on the walk.
Each child makes a lantern during class to help light their way.
